Program Overview

The breast cancer landscape is continuously evolving with rapid advances in research and treatment. Despite ongoing developments, rural and underserved communities face numerous disparities in cancer care due to specialist shortages, long travel distances, and limited resources. Therefore, disseminating the latest information to community oncology clinicians is vital in ensuring access to equitable cancer care. In this panel discussion, three leading experts will share key data on early and metastatic breast cancer from the 2024 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting in Chicago. Insights on how the findings will impact community practice and strategies to improve breast cancer management in rural and underserved areas will also be discussed.

The content for this enduring activity was recorded on June 4, 2024.
