Target Audience

This activity is designed specifically for oncologists and other health professionals practicing in community settings, including those who serve geographically diverse populations.

Program Overview

Multiple novel targets and agents are currently being evaluated for relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM), including triple-class refractory disease and beyond. Among the most promising are cereblon E3 ligase modulators (CELMoDs). Early-phase clinical trials have demonstrated manageable safety profiles and encouraging activity in heavily pretreated and triple-class refractory patients, supporting their potential therapeutic role in RRMM. However, access to these treatments can be limited, particularly in community-based settings that face oncology specialist shortages, long travel times to care, limited insurance coverage, and low participation in clinical trials. This online, on-demand CME/CE activity will review CELMoDs for RRMM, including emerging clinical evidence and the role of these therapies in treatment decision-making. Methods to increase patient access to emerging therapies and clinical trials in community-based settings will also be discussed.

This enduring activity is a recorded session from Oncology Congress that took place on June 13, 2026.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

  • Explain the mechanism of action of CELMoDs and their role in overcoming resistance in RRMM
  • Evaluate recent clinical trial data on the efficacy and safety of CELMoDs in RRMM
  • Apply emerging clinical trial evidence on the efficacy and safety of CELMoD-based therapies to treatment decision-making in RRMM
  • Incorporate practical strategies to improve patient access to emerging therapies and clinical trials for RRMM in community practice
